Elon Musk has stated that he may need neck and upper back surgery before his heavyweight billionaire battle with Mark Zuckerberg.

While the exact date of the probable clash between the two social media titans has yet to be determined, August 26 has been suggested as a feasible date for both parties.

However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, 52, has stated that he will have an MRI scan on an injury, which could rule out a fight before the end of the month.

Musk took to X – Twitter – to say: ‘Exact date is still in flux. I’m getting an MRI of my neck & upper back tomorrow [Monday]. May require surgery before the fight can happen. Will know this week.’
