Nigeriens protest against President Bola Tinubu Over Plots To Remove The Coupists.

Nigerians have launched a protest against Nigerian President Bola Tinubu.

The demonstration in Niger Republic against Tinubu, the head of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), follows a coup in the country that deposed the democratically elected President, Mohamed Bazoum.

It also comes after the BBC reported that Nigeria cut off electricity supply to Niger Republic in accordance with a presidential decree.

ECOWAS has already stated that military intervention will be the last resort in restoring the democratically elected government deposed by the military junta.
